Kelly M.Ed., BCBA joined the company as a BCBA in May of 2018, servicing Brentwood, Antioch, and Discovery Bay in California. She is a Clinical Director with Butterfly Effects.
Kelly earned her Bachelor’s of Art in Communicative Disorders from the University of Redlands in California in 2008. She later earned her Master’s in Education from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2012. Kelly also received her BCBA certification in 2012.
She began her career in Seattle in 2008 as a paraprofessional providing ABA therapy in homes and in the school setting. After graduating, Kelly worked as a BCBA at a private non-profit school that focused on inclusion of children with autism and other disorders with their typically developing peers. During that time, she also contracted with several other agencies, managing home programs. In 2014, Kelly began her own business, continuing to provide ABA services within the home setting, until 2018 when she moved down to California.
Kelly has experience with teaching early language skills and has intensely collaborated with speech pathologists on many cases. Her background in the school setting has given her insight into crucial skills that are necessary for children to be successful in the classroom and social settings.
Kelly is a member of the Washington Association for Applied Behavior Analysts (WABA), Association of Behavior Analysts International (ABAI), and Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA).
