Maria Omayma Balingit, MAT, BCBA
Maria Omayma Balingit, MAT, BCBA joined Butterfly Effects as a BCBA in 2017, servicing San Diego, California locations. She is a Senior Behavior Analyst with Butterfly Effects.
Maria earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health in 2008 from San Diego State University and her Master’s in Teaching with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from National University in 2014. She received her BCaBA in 2014 and BCBA in 2015.
Maria has expertise working with adults and children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities ages 18 months to 65+ years old since 2008. She has worked with individuals with ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fragile X, Rett Syndrome, Intellectual Disability and Bipolar.
She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including In-Home Patient care, Adult Day Programs, Residential Programs, Public and Private Schools, as well as In-Home ABA and Clinic-Based ABA in the San Diego area.
