Samantha joined Butterfly Effects as a BCBA in 2016, servicing San Diego, CA. She is a Senior BCBA with Butterfly Effects.
Samantha earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and with an Addiction and Substance Abuse Counseling minor in 2011 from the University of Nevada, Reno and her MA in Teaching and Curriculum with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2015. She received her BCBA certification in 2016.
She has worked with clients ranging from 18 months to 22 years of age. Samantha has worked with disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, global developmental delays, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Angelman’s Syndrome, and Bipolar.
Samantha has experience working with in a variety of clinical settings including Rady Children’s Hospital, in homes, and several school systems and classrooms. She has worked in the ABA field for both hospital settings and ABA agencies in the San Diego area. Samantha completed her supervision hours to fulfill her BCBA requirements at the Autism Discovery Institute which is a clinical setting for individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism, and other developmental delays, located in San Diego, CA. Samantha grew up in Reno, NV and has also lived in Seattle, WA after college. She moved to the San Diego area in the summer of 2012 and has continued her education and career in California.
