Amy joined Butterfly Effects as a BCBA in 2016 servicing the South Florida region.
Amy earned her Bachelor’s in Anthropology from Kenyon College in 2003 and received her Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education from Hunter College in 2012 and became both certified as a Behavior Analyst and licensed as a Behavior Analyst in the state of New York in 2014.
Amy has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and special education for over ten years. She worked as a therapist in home based programming for ages birth through adult, a classroom instructor in an ABA pre-school, and as lead BCBA for adults in residential and home settings.
Amy has worked with individuals of all ages. She has experience with functional assessment, challenging behaviors, verbal behavior, natural environment training, independent living and social skills training.
Amy is a member of the Association of Behavior Analysis International where she presented a paper on ethics and team collaboration at the 2016 international conference.
