DeLawn M.S., BCBA joined Butterfly Effects as a BCBA in 2018 servicing Atlanta, GA locations. He is a BCBA with Butterfly Effects.
DeLawn earned his Master of Science in Educational Counseling from National University in Los Angeles, CA and B.A in Real Estate from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. DeLawn received his BCBA certification in 2015.
He is a certified provider for the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) which was originally developed at UCLA.
DeLawn has experience with counseling elementary and middle school students. He has worked with clients who have had self-injurious behavior, aggressive behaviors, and trichotillomania among other severe problem behaviors. His clients have had diagnoses of Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Fragile X syndrome, and Seizure Disorder. He has experience in parent training, verbal behavior, toilet training, and social skill training. He has worked with clients between the ages of 3-18 years of age in the home, school and community setting.
DeLawn is a member of the Georgia Association for Behavior Analysis.
