Liara Lovett joined Butterfly Effects as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2017, servicing Atlanta, Georgia. Liara earned her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis at Auburn University. While completing her master’s degree, Liara conducted research on the effect of differential reinforcement on elopement. Liara received her BCBA certification in 2016.
Liara has expertise working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has also has experience with a variety of other disorders including Borderline Intellectual Functioning, Down Syndrome, chromosomal mutations, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder and PTSD. Liara has experience in early intervention, stereotypical behaviors, severe problem behavior, and verbal behavior. Liara also has expertise in training family members on the basic practices of ABA and has taught state approved parent training courses. Liara has expertise in working with children placed in the foster care system exhibiting challenging behaviors and providing crisis management to families. Liara has utilized her skillset in a variety of settings including clinical, homebased, and school based.
Liara is a member of Alabama Association for Behavior Analysis (ALABA) and Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI)
