Carrie, MS, BCBA, LBA joined Butterfly Effects as a part-time behavior technician in 2015 and transitioned to full-time in 2016. She began her journey as a Senior Behavior Analyst with Butterfly Effects in 2018, servicing New Orleans, Louisiana locations.
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA and her Master of Science in Psychology (emphasis on ABA) at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Carrie received her BCBA certification in February 2018.
Carrie has worked in homes, school, and clinical settings with children of a variety of ages and degrees of skill deficits. She has experience with acquisition skills training, teaching verbal behavior, augmentative and alternative communication, and reduction of challenging behaviors. Prior to working at Butterfly Effects as a behavior technician in 2015, Carrie was a school counselor for 8 years. She has experience as a pre-school teacher, as well as a high school teacher. She also spent 10 years as a Children’s Minister.
Carrie is a member of Association for Behavior Analysis.
