Joseph joined Butterfly Effects as a behavior technician in 2012, working in the Wilmington, NC and Jacksonville NC area. Joseph is currently a BCBA with Butterfly Effects, receiving his BCBA certification in 2014.
Joseph earned his BA in psychology in 2010 from North Carolina State University, and his MS in psychology with a concentration in applied behavior analysis from Kaplan University in 2013.
Joseph enjoys working with children and aside from working in the home setting, has worked as behavior support for Onslow County Public Schools during the 2012 – 2013 school year. During that time He worked in a head-start preschool classroom, as well as a middle school social skills classroom.
Joseph has experience working with children from ages 2 – 16 and has worked closely with children with a variety of different skill sets and challenging behaviors. He works closely with the team in North Carolina to manage, and develop programs in order to provide the most effective and appropriate services to each child. Joseph is passionate and loves being able to help those who he works with and their families.
