Ami Kaminski, M.A., BCBA, joined Butterfly Effects as a BCBA in 2017 servicing Raleigh metro area, North Carolina. She is a senior behavior analyst with Butterfly Effects.
Ami earned her bachelors of science in child, youth, and family studies at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She earned her Masters of school psychology with Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Ami received their BCBA certification in 2017.
Prior to working for Butterfly Effects, she worked at the Munroe-Meyer Institute under Wayne Fisher. Her areas of interest include verbal behavior and increasing communication. She also has experience working in the pediatric feeding disorder clinic under Cathleen Piazza.
She has authored and presented research pertaining to social skills such as increasing appropriate turn taking and appropriate sportsmanship in children with autism.
Ami is a member of Applied Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).
