Amanda joined Butterfly Effects as a BCBA in 2013, serving as the Regional Director for Texas. In 2014 she became the Director for Clinical Services for Butterfly Effects.
Amanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas in 2008 and her Master’s degree in Special Education, as well as graduate certificates in Autism Intervention and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas in 2011. Amanda is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as well as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
Amanda has worked in a variety of settings including clinic based, home based, and community based settings. Amanda’s areas of focus have been early intervention, autism intervention, parent training, as well as staff training and management. She has an extensive background developing and implementing individualized skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs for children diagnosed with autism.
Amanda is a member of the Texas Association for Behavior Analysis, the TxABA Autism Special Interest Group, and the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts.
