Kelly joined Butterfly Effects as a BCBA in 2014. She is a Virginia Licensed and Nationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Kelly received her graduate degree at Antioch University New England where she completed her Certification in Behavior Analysis in 2012 and her Masters in Education in 2013. Kelly graduated with High Honors in a Bachelors in Arts with a concentration in Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University.
Kelly’s educational and clinical experience is broad. She has been active in behavior analytic work in educational systems from 1992-1997, worked in the community with adolescents from 2009-2014, and provided ABA therapy in the field directly as an ABA Therapist from 2010-2013 before becoming certified. As a BCBA Kelly has provided services to clients ages 2 to 16 with Autism. Autism Spectrum Disorders, an individuals multiply diagnosed with other Developmental Delays.
Kelly’s practice areas are Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Her areas are expertise are parent training, reduction of Behavioral barriers, increasing social learning, and increasing communication skills with clients who are nonverbal.
Kelly comes from a large military family, grew up in Virginia Beach, is a graduate of Bayside High School and belongs to the Florida Association of Behavior Analysts.
