Angela is a wife of 17 years and a mother to a 11 year old daughter. She loves to read and watch movies in her spare time. She loves animals and working with children. She is currently a teacher with the Head Start program and absolutely loves her job!

Angela has been in the education field for the past ten years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a bachelors of science in elementary education. <br><br>Upon graduation, she obtained a job as a second grade teacher. While teaching second and third grade, she taught students with minor to severe learning disabilities and students with mild to severe emotional disorders. She also had the opportunity to work with two kids with Autism and she thoroughly enjoyed watching these boys learn, grow and become valuable and respected members of classroom community. She also became certified in and taught English as a Second Language learners and Gifted and Talented children.<br><br>Angela enjoyed the challenges of working with students with disabilities so much that she then went back to school for her masters of science in special education. Since graduating with her masters degree, she has taught at an alternative school, grades 5, 6 and 7. The students she worked with at this school had very severe emotional and learning disabilities. <br><br>Angela now teaches Head Start and is enjoying working with younger children.
