Provider bio

I am currently a senior year in the Teacher Education Program at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am a special education major with an endorsement in English. This past year I have worked (practicum) in both the inclusion and self-contained (special education) classrooms in the K-12 settings. I have worked one-on-one with children with autism, Down Syndrome, developmental disabilities, and learning disabilities. I believe that my educational background in special education and my experience in the self-contained classroom setting has equipped me with the necessary skills to be an effective tutor for children with autism. I am hard working, determined, and I never give up until I know that my students understand the concepts being taught.
