Is ABA therapy going to take long for my child?

The amount of time that a child will undergo ABA therapy will vary depending upon the case. Services are highly individualized and are based on the needs of the child and his/her family. There has been research conducted that proves that receiving intensive ABA therapy for one to three years can significantly benefit a child across multiple domains. Focused ABA treatment consists of around 10-25 hours of services that focus on just a few target areas for improvement.

Will ABA therapy be completed at home?

It has been shown that ABA therapy is most efficient and effective when it is performed in the home, school or community. While clinic-based settings are also beneficial, it is more effective to teach a child both behavioral and social skills in the midst of his/her daily life. This helps the child to learn how to apply these skills in his/her natural environment.
