JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Jr. HR Generalist performs human resources-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, employee relation and benefits management. This is a confidential position. The Jr. HR Generalist must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the business needs.



ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS

Serve as single point of contact to functional management and operate as a

trusted business partner by providing cross-functional HR advice, counsel and problem solutions.

Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures,

and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.

Coordinates hiring process for BCBAs and HQ Staff, including but not limited to

conducting background and reference checks, negotiating salary offers, and issuing job confirmation letters for internal promotions.

Coordinates and/or conducts employee-relations activities and programs including

but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies and new hire employee orientation.

Responds to inquiries regarding the organization's processes, policies, procedures,

and programs.

Assist in involuntary and voluntary terminations, document and process across systems. Process terminations for all team members across multiple-platforms.

Maintain personnel files, process status COS, title changes, region transfers

Assists and conducts investigations into claims of harassment or other company- guideline violations.

Conducts Verification of Employment via email and phone, as needed

Maintains employee directory.

Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as required.

Performs company wide audits on compliance and regulatory requirements such

as I-9's, background screenings, certifications requirements etc.

Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of departments and services performed.

Files EEO-1 reporting and maintains other records, reports and logs to confirm

with EEO regulations.

Files required State and Federal HIPAA, ACA disclosure notices and workers'

compensation state reports.

Provides support as necessary in Central Reach System. Assist Authorizations

Department and Payroll Department as needed.

Assists in the coordination and processing of immigration paperwork as needed. Ensures accurate and timely collection of Performance Management Data. Receives, review and analyzes exit survey data and other surveys as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities but will have programmatic oversight of

Credentialing Specialist.




WORK ENVIRONMENT

Operates in professional office environment. Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, computers, photocopiers and smart phones.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS Able to lift 25 lbs.


POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


TRAVEL

Travel is not required.




REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree B.A. in Business or Human Resources or related field.

Two to four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare experience preferred.

Experience in recruiting and staffing.




PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Experience with Central Reach preferred




ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
