Autism diagnostic assessments

Many families and children wait months or more to obtain an autism from a qualified professional. Children affected by autism respond best to treatment when services start at an early age. A formal autism diagnosis is required by health insurance providers before treatment is authorized. Most families seek Applied Behavior Analysis or ABA therapy for their children following an autism diagnosis. ABA therapy can be provided in the child’s home or ABA center. ABA therapy involves one-to-one treatment with a therapist, includes the families, and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
