Employment Requirements

Butterfly Effects, LLC is committed to selecting and employing compassionate, empathetic, and talented team members who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to the children and families that we serve. We provide individually tailored ABA programs and pride ourselves on creating opportunities for team members to reach their desired potential through various professional growth opportunities.

All prospective team members must have:

  1. Reliable transportation
  2. Computer and internet access for utilization of electronic record system.
  3. A clear 10-year criminal federal, state, and county background check, state and national sex offender registry search, and OIG & GSA Exclusion List check.
  4. Patience and ability to remain focused in stressful situations.
  5. A commitment to a culture of service excellence and dependability.

BCBA & BCaBA Employment Requirements

  1. Certification by the BACB (Behavior Analysis Certification Board).
  2. An approved master’s degree in a related field as specified by the BACB.
  3. Current state license or certification dependent on state requirements.
  4. Experience and or specific training with children on the autism spectrum.
  5. Management/supervision experience strongly preferred.
  6. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification via an approved live course sanctioned by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Behavior Technician & Registered Behavior (RBT) Technician Employment Requirements

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Experience with children and ability to work one-on-one with or without supervision.
  3. Interest in behavior therapy or special education.
  4. High-energy, outgoing and flexible personality.
  5. Registration with the BACB as a Registered Behavior Technician or commitment to complete training and registration process under the supervision of Butterfly Effects.
  6. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification via an approved live course sanctioned by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  7. Meet Physical Demands – Working with clients in their natural environments may require you to lift or move approximately 50 lbs. and be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
