a difference for your family.

What is ABA therapy?

Technically known as Applied Behavioral Analysis, ABA is a therapy that is used to break down the parts that make up problem behaviors and to address these parts individually. This allows children with autism spectrum disorders and those with moderate to severe behavioral issues to change their behaviors and to acquire new skills in a manageable way.

How long does ABA therapy take?

ABA therapy that is designed to address one or two behaviors or to add a few simple skills may take as little as 10 hours to complete. For more complex issues, however, ABA experts recommend allowing up to three years to ensure that the sessions are effective and that they represent real benefits to children on the autism spectrum and those with developmental issues or behavioral problems.
