Making the Most of ABA Services During Summer Break!

With summer break right around the corner, now is the perfect time to ensure your child
continues to thrive with their services! Here are a few ways to keep things on track: 
Adjust or Extend Session Times 
– Talk to your team about increasing session times or shifting them to better fit your new
summer schedule. 
– Depending on your child’s needs and your insurance requirements, our technicians may
be able to attend summer camp with your child.
Add Another Technician for Extra Coverage 
– If your child has increased availability in the summer, and approved hours, your BCBA
can potentially help find an additional technician to cover more days. 
Explore New Learning Opportunities 
– Center-Based Services & Social Skills Development: Check to see if there are openings
at one of our many center locations during the summer. This is a great opportunity for
your child to learn social skills with new peers! 

– Community Outings: Ask your BCBA about setting up outings to help your child build
confidence in everyday situations. 
Plan Ahead for Vacations 
– If you have a trip planned, please let us know as soon as possible. 
– Prepare your child for any upcoming trips (e.g. if they are flying for the first time prepare
them with videos, taking comfort items and plenty of snacks, etc.)
