What is ABA therapy?
ABA (also known as Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is a method of evidence-based treatment utilized in children with behavioral or development disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The therapy consists of teaching a child how to break down a complicated task into smaller and more manageable steps. It’s been effective in successfully addressing behaviors related to communication, waiting, asking for assistance, following instructions, performing tasks, making friends and other skills.

Intensive ABA treatment services which last one to three years have been proven to be effective in assisting children in making significant gains in many different skill areas. Focused ABA treatment services delivered over 10-25 hours are successful in treating a limited number of specific skills.
